Another college girl

Granddaughter Morgan in her prom dress.
She made this dress from scratch as part of
her design portfolio. She is thinking of
either design and/or photography as her
college major. Both pictures are the same dress. Morgan will be attending the University of Montevallo just south of Birmingham, Alabama, where she and her parents live.

Jacob, the boy standing along side her is her southern beau.

Another "Creation by Morgan". The one in red, not the ceiling of an Italian Chapel. That picture was taken on her graduation trip to Rome.

What's this? An in-line skating rink, an ice skating rink, a bowling alley. A new theme park? No, it's Pensacola Christian College. And yes, they do have classes. But they provide all a student needs for their spiritual, physical, social and educational activities. And why spotlight this college? Well, read on.

Who is this new college girl? And where is this beautiful location?

Packing a year's worth of clothes and misc. isn't the easiest thing in the world. But Father David got the job done. Jenny's off to college.

After a walk across the campus, putting all the junk into her dorm room, it was off to play for the next couple of days. Sister Katie, Mom and Dad and Grandma Cathy joined in the fun.

Well, grandma sort of just watched.

Pensacola Christian College has this huge water park on campus and as you can see, the new college girl played games just like a high school girl.

Yes, this is Florida. It rains bunches. And at the entrance to each building there is a bunch of umbrella holders. I guess you got to have a lot of trust in your fellow collegiate--not to take the best looking umbrella of the bunch.

BY THE WAY, DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN DOUBLE CLICK ON EACH PHOTO AND SEE FULL SCREEN? At least I can on my computer. Yours should do it too.

More graduation pics

Diploma time with principal and parents.
Jenny and parents are happy for graduation time.

Walking down the aisle after 12 long years of school. (okay, 13 with kindergarten) It's a happy time. Next week she heads off to Pensacola Christian College for her summer work, helping pay for room, board, tuition and maybe even for a car in a year or two. But for now, it's use the bus.
The other two pictures are of the table showing her achievements over the past years. Every graduate had a table prepared by the parents.
